● Introduction of Lawyer Lai Zaoxing
Born in 1973 in Liuyang, Hunan, Han nationality, with a PhD and postdoctoral degree in law. He is a professor, doctoral supervisor, and head of the Department of Criminal Law at the University of International Business and Economics. He is also a part-time lawyer at Beijing Guantang Law Firm.
Lawyer Lai Zaoxing started working part-time as a lawyer in 2005, with 20 years of practical experience. He has undertaken cases of significant influence in society, such as supervision cases of National Anti-Crime Office, the Supreme People's Court's appeal, and the Supreme People's Court's death penalty review. With strong and solid legal knowledge, dedicated spirit of dedication, and enthusiastic and thoughtful service attitude, he has achieved good case handling results and won unanimous praise from customers.

Lawyer Lai has published five monographs, including "On Equality in Criminal Law", "Research on the Composition of Crimes from the Perspective of Evidence Law", "Research on the Intensity of Punishment", "Research on the Elements of Crime from the Perspective of Criminal Procedure Law", and "Research on Hot Issues in British and American Criminal Law" and translated one book titled "The Arbitrariness of the Death Penalty”. In addition, he has published over 80 professional papers in publications such as "Chinese Law", "Legal Business Studies", "Modern Law", "Legal Science", "Jurists", "Law Magazine", "Global Legal Review", "Legal Review", "Legal System and Social Development", "Politics and Law", "Chinese Journal of Criminal Law", "Criminal Law Series", " Guangming Daily " (Theoretical Weekly), etc.

Lawyer Lai has successively presided over two projects funded by the National Social Science Foundation, one project funded by the Provincial Social Science Foundation, and one project funded by the Provincial Department of Education for Youth. He received multiple awards including the first prize of Hunan Provincial Teaching Achievement Award and the second prize of the 14th Beijing Philosophy and Social Science Excellent Achievement Award.
