In order to implement and deepen the reform deployment of "delegating power, regulating power and optimizing services", promote trademark registration reform, optimize the business environment, and improve public service levels, adjustments are made to the issuance method of trademark registration certificates, and the announcement is as follows:

1. Starting from January 1, 2022, the trademark registration certificate generated by the public announcement registration and other trademark applications will be submitted in paper form. The "Notice of Obtaining the Trademark Registration Certificate" will be sent to the trademark application in paper form. The registrant shall specify the URL and Extract the code and log in to the China Trademark Network to obtain the electronic trademark registration certificate; log in to the online trademark service system to submit trademark applications electronically to obtain the electronic trademark registration certificate. The electronic trademark registration certificate can be viewed, downloaded and printed by yourself. The State Intellectual Property Office will no longer issue paper trademark registration certificates.

2. Establish a transition period

From October 15 to December 31, 2021, the trademark registration certificate generated by the public announcement registration and other trademark applications will be submitted in paper form. The "Notice of Receiving the Trademark Registration Certificate" will be sent to the trademark application in paper form. The registrant shall be designated in accordance with the notice. URL and extraction code, log in to the China Trademark Network to obtain an electronic trademark registration certificate, and a paper trademark registration certificate will be sent at the same time; the issuance method for electronically submitted trademark applications will remain unchanged for the time being.
